Idea Napkin No.1
11A
- I am a third-year majoring in Advertisement. I am a passionate web designer and social media manager. I am also a brand ambassador for LULA (a car-sharing app) and Tommy Hilfiger. When I have free time, you can usually find me at the gym. After the gym, I throw my dirty laundry in the washer and dryer, which leads me to my invention of the LED indicator on the drying machine.
- What I am offering my customers: a new easy way to dry their clothes. The idea of Lint lights is to attach an LED indicator so that an individual about to run the dryer would know if they need to check the dryer lint catcher before starting the dryer.
- Who am I offering it to busy individuals, especially, college students that live off-campus, or working parents.
- Why they care: Since my targeted audience is always busy, this invention is perfect for them. These working moms, dads, and students don’t have time to rerun their dryer. The LED indicator will be an ideal invention for them.
- Most dryers don’t have indicators or LED indicators, so I think this invention would be a good idea. Also, my idea consists of an app that works with both the washer and dryer so an individual can easily control the machines.
I think that these elements go together because it is essential to realize the answers to these questions to make sure every part of the problem is fixed and would be used by the public.
Hey Deborah,
ReplyDeleteMajoring in advertisement and social media managing skills is awesome to have under your belt. This can go a long way towards being a successful business owner. I definitely agree that this product would be most useful too busy (or lazy) individuals. This product will also help out when it comes to those sick of an overcharged electric bill after having to rerun the dryer.
Hey Deborah,
ReplyDeleteI like how you establish credibility in the beginning by saying you have passion with media skills and are pursuing a degree in advertising. This shows how you are also a student at the time of this innovative idea and are able to manage school and this together. I personally believe this product would definitely do more good than harm and that I would purchase it myself. This could definitely benefit off campus students who are closely watching their utilities to not get charged more.
Hey Deborah Lee,
ReplyDeleteI mentioned last time that I loved the idea, but now seeing how you have fleshed out your thought, I think this could be a viable product. This product saves people time, money, and sanity. By decreasing the times that the dryer is ran you create a butterfly effect that saves money and the environment. I would use this product.
