Forming An Opportunity Belief
4A Beginning Point: After revisiting my big list, I think an opportunity exists to fix drying machines. Sometimes, when I run the dryer, I forget to clean the lint out of the dryer, which causes my clothes to be somewhat damp after the dryer buzzes. This causes me to rerun the dryer, which raises utility expenses at my apartment. The unmet need for this problem would be for the dryer to indicate whether or not the lint has been cleaned. Everyone with a dryer would most likely have this need. This need has always existed, and always bugged me. The opportunity probably exists for 80% of people who own or even use dryers. Hey Deborah, I think anyone that is not home but wants the washer or dryer to run at a specific time would love the idea of an app. It is almost like a remote control washer and dryer! The elevator pitch was great. Maybe slow down next time to really bring out the pitch.
ReplyDeleteHi! I love how you used language like "my team and I researched...". It added a lot of credibility instantly. I love the LED indicator and how you introduced the app coming out. I think the app being able to check time on your load in the wash is an amazing idea. My washer/drier take forever, so this would be a huge benefit for me because I usually leave the house while they finish. IN a future pitch, I would maybe just slow down so I can catch each word a little better. Great job!!!

Hi Deborah, I really liked your elevator pitch. I am also a fan of your idea of this app and light to help reduce lint. I am a victim of this because sometimes have to dry my clothes again and raising my utilities bill for no reason. I would recommend maybe slowing down a bit to try and reach the minute and a half mark. I really loved how you had a name for your product and referenced your team throughout the whole video. This made you seem really credible. Great work!
